An incredibly lush and decedent set from a fairly anonymous, overlooked and lost musical pairing. The album manages to stir into it's sophisticated mix a combination of drum 'n' bass, 60s pop, spy movie themes, chillout bliss, gospel, ambient, lounge and jazz. I have this album several times across various formats and pressings and it's actually, by quite a long way, my favourite album of all time. It's quite a stylish and epic piece, with a timeless quality and so much to satisfy the ear that it never tires. I wont focus on "best songs" because this album works exceptionally well as a one sitting, start to finish listening experience. The only joy to glean from the fact it fell on deaf ears at the time and failed to generate any true commercial success is that today, the CD can be picked up for a couple of quid, if that. Take a compact risk and believe me, you wont be disappointed. If I find a copy of this album in a shop going cheap, I nearly always buy it! Every person I've passed it on to has always been very grateful!
