You look like a business administration student. trust me. I did it. And it sucked.
  • Gralmeena
so simple that hurts. but depends on how much you like pain. Great both sides, not myfavorite of the series, but a good to hear one.
  • White_Nigga

  • Scream_I LOVE YOU
Recycling the old techno tunes from the 90s over and over...but it seems enough for todays unsuspecting and inexperienced kids, who are so easily impressed..
  • Bedy
I've been listened to techno from that point that it started to exist, and I think this release is better than 90% of all techno ever made. Techno is so overhyped nowadays. Most of it should not exist at all. Greatest tracks are great of course. This is one of them, IMO.
  • Nightscar
How far up your own arse could you be? Just another bitter jaded middle-aged raver
  • Brariel
So what old techno tune has been recycled here exactly?
  • Quinthy
It sounds fine dude. It's not the best thing in the world, but still...Snob much?
  • Samowar
Been listening and collecting for 27 years and this rocks my boat. Its got a groove and moves ass - perfect tool. No less / No more!
  • Bladebringer
My point wasn't about the author, it was about the hype around this mediocre release, and this bunch of new "wanna-be" djs/ravers being fascinated by it. Little do they know we were trampling over vinyl like this back in 90s, cause there was so much better stuff. Just so all this crowd on the page (in comments, haves/wants) know where they at.
  • Steelcaster
Just what this alias is for. Rene/Shed never lied about that. Just read his interviews. What is original these days?
  • Enone
Hell yeah! Back at Juno today!
  • The Sphinx of Driz

You're a star!

This kind of minimalism either works incredibly well (the A-side riff is simple but oh-so addictive), or just falls flat (the B-side isn't even a riff, just a single chord repeating over and over). I'm not convinced this is the best Wax 12", but the A-side is decent. B-side is too simplistic to be classic.
  • Faehn
both excellent tunes, but the B side is just something else. definitely going to be rinsing it a lot.
  • Munigrinn
this release is immense. love every second of it.
  • Adaly
!!! Repressed. Buy from retailer !!!
  • HyderCraft
B side will become a techno classic in the years to come.

As an outsider listening to his work I did like this track. Some key points: For a 2010 release there is a nice old skool sound to it which I liked. Its genre is listed as techno, I can see why at the start it does sound like its gonna be a great techno track but then comes in the lead at around the 2 min mark and it puts a new spin on it and it then sort of becomes a house or minimal techno track. This I don't like because it had laid the foundation for what could of been a great old skool sounding techno tune. Also it really does weaken the overall impact of the record and in my mind it makes the artist seem as if he was unsure himself what style he wanted it to be but above all it makes him sound amateurish. It could of been arranged alot better. 3 outta 5.

@ Bourkey I couldn't disagree more (though you explained your opinion very well). If you want an old skool sounding techno tune, I'm sure you have plenty of decent ones - dig them out and play them. I love the warmth of this techno/house crossover and both sides bump and flex with plenty of energy. Sounds like the man new exactly what he was doing to me.
  • Akisame
I agree overall sound could be improved, but both compositions are great in my opinion.

I find this record a bit harsh on the ears, not as good as the other WAX'es or the EQD series. The production is really rough (which i usually like), but the overall sound is not warm, but a bit cheap and hissy instead. It becomes playable though if you attenuate the highs on your dj mixer a bit.The music itself is funky and filled with synth stabs, so this is still a good record :)
