Package is flawless but the records are not high quality pressings. All four LPs are warped and the sound quality is average (rega RP3+rega Elys2). It's OK when you bought it on a half price sale :-)

As I only have all their backcatalogue on CD and always thought those versions to be victims of the "loudness war" with poor dynamics I am looking for a vinyl copy with a more open sound now. Hi Brussels, finally received it this morning in a well packed large pizza box. The box is a very nice material, i thought it was matt black in the pictures. I would have preferred the main place for us to dream to be the box cover instead of the plain box. The vinyl sounds good to my ears, gave them a good clean before 1st play and i can't hear any static or noise between songs. I had the remastered version of Without you I'm nothing and sold it just the other day, i really didn't care for that pressing at all, it sounded very flat and lifeless. I think for £42.50 this is a nice addition to a Placebo fans shelf regardless of having all of them on various formats. Hope this helped.

Vinyl is ok. Lots of dirt left from the factory covering the new vinyl when I unwrap it, some of the stickers are scratched or bumpy. I think the other remastered vinyl released this year sounds better than this box set. Unless you're a serious collector I think you would be just as happy buying through iTunes.
