Notes

Three recordings made on 9th, 10th and 11th of April, 1982. Sixty-two poems were recorded, twenty-eight with improvised musical accompaniment.

Every poem presented can be found in the 'Collected Poems of Earle Birney', 2 Vols., III. by Harold Town, 1975, with the exception of that on track 2J, which can be found in 'Fall By Fury' (new poems), 1978.
