Cai Bojsen-Møller goes in for a SUPER-SONIC JAZZY SESSION, although from the synthetic strings on the opener "Theodor's Lullaby," you might not realize it. Soon enough, though, the breaks jump in to give the track heft, while the more abstract melody of "Easy Does It" floats and jitters above its rhythm. "M&P" emphasizes more of the double bass for its delicate composition, and that mellow vibe continues into the bouncy "Super-Sonic Vision." Meanwhile "Sound of Joy" swoon quietly along before "Ga Part 1&2" bring the tempo back up. "Corners" grounds itself in electro but "Swinging Machines" keeps itself more spare, drawing its spacy tech elements into "Evidence" as well. But it's the closer, "Reel Things," that perhaps finally brings in the jazzy session, but even that maintains its moments of mystery. A super enjoyable session, let's call it.
