It would be amazing if Sundazed would reissue both of the Mother Truckers Yellow Duck Lps! They are both quite lovely!

As mentioned by discosanddragons, this album originally was issued privately - on the band's own label DUCK Records. I sold it in 2009. it came with a cartoon strip. The Duck records release is NOT listed on Discogs. My auction is listed in Popsike.com.

An absolutely exceptional album that rides high above most others at the time, though sadly ignored because of its fairly limited release within Canada. A nice mix of heavy psychedelia and a touch of country rock, makes this one of the more creative and interesting albums to come out of the late 60's.

The needle practically jumps right into this. It starts off with a frantic blast of the psychedelic west coast. But wait, west coast of Canada, Vancouver, B.C.Quicksilvery grooves abound yet form a sound all their own. One would have to wonder how this one has slipped through the cracks in this world of psychedelic sixties fueled bootleg reissues. As good as any classic "S.F Sound" album and that's not a knock on anyone. My faves are One Glass For Wine, One Ring Jane, Elevated Platform and the opener Times Are Changing. You also can't go wrong with Pot O' Gold, again, as good as any West Coast country song, lonely harmonies and all. There's a great balance of psychedelic guitar, country licks and weaving vocal harmonies on this one that give you the satisfaction you need after listening to the entire album. An instant fave all around in an instant.Originally issued as private press which is now a mega rarity.Skip 10 of those bootleg records with two tight tracks to get this one!It won't let you down.
