A MOOCHIN' ABOUT, "NEW ORTHOPHONIC" HIGH FIDELITY RECORDING
"New Orthophonic" High Fidelity recording has these characteristics:
1. Ideal dynamic range plus clarity and brilliance
2. Complete frequency range
3. Constant fidelity from outside to inside of record
4. Improved quiet surface

Best possible reproduction of "New Orthophobnic" records will be obtained on all High Fidelity instruments. Superior reproduction also will be obtained on all "Victorola" phonographs. An RCA ultra-directional microphone, the newest acoustical development of the David Sarnoff Research Centre, was used. For the best reproduction, High Fidelity phonographs should be adjusted to the R.I.A.A or the "New Orthophonic" characteristic. Where neither is designated on the instrument, proper equalization can be obtained by selecting the "LP" position and then, using the tone controls, boosting bass and treble, each by a small amount. Alternatively, the "A.E.S" characteristics may be used with the bass boosted and the treble reduced, each by a small amount.

Notice on this long play record a new raised centre and other edge, which is an Moochin' About improvement, designed to help protect the playing surface of the record from abrasion, scratches and any new contact with other records.
