People talk about artists/records being before there time, this is a fine example, A1 Industrial Strength is the epitome of before its time, the mid section of the track is the foundation sound that defined the New Wave of Dutch Gabber of Post 97, 'You're Going Down' and its mid section also has that later Dutch sound to a certain extent. When you look in context that this record is one of the early IS releases, hit the shelves early 94, you would of been hard pushed to of heard most of the sounds that make up this release ever in your life at that time. These guys knew how to make music, the intelligence of the structure, formation and sound was unheard in early 1994, dont get me wrong there was harder, faster records out there at that time but none as intelligent, none with the amazing production value that this record has.You might think from this semi-review that this must be one of my fave records ever ever ever, not at all, its a very good record granted, but when i look at this record in context of year and what it symbolises in the grand scale of hardcore from then to current date.......... It blows my mind!

Another one of those classic early IS releases, mainly because of "Africa 4010". With its grating engine noise loop and solid distorted kick, it totally blew me away when I heard it years ago on the Liza N Eliaz "Romper Stomper" mix, taking me a fair while to ID and only just recently locate a copy of my own. It's a bit short at just over 3 minutes, but immense in a mix.
