There's slightly less compression compared to the digital version, but the vocals still peak and crackle in just a couple places, similar to the digital versions. Unlike the digital versions, however, there is no peaking or crackling in the drums or guitar. The beginning tracks are too close to the edge of the record for my auto-play function to start at the very beginning, but it's no biggie. The quality does seem to suffer towards the centers of the disks, but only slightly. Cool artwork, no lyric printouts, and an overall OK pressing.

This release is different than the Evil Ink Records release in both look and sound. When the album was reissued I immediately noticed the difference - IMHO it's a night and day difference in terms of energy and mixing. This release feels more 'alive' and 'energetic' while the newer release sounds more 'defined' and 'subdued.'I prefer this release to the newer version.
