Big Hacienda Tune,New York House Mix 2 is my favorite mix on this 12", it drops with that unforgettable synth intro, that use to get everyone going as soon as they heard it, building with a big funky bassline, great percussion, synth rifts and of course the vocal.Fantastic old school house - well worth a listen.

My copy has all instances of "You're My One and Only" in Parentheses and not "True Love" on the label. I assume the tracklist is the same.

It's the 'dub mix' and underground mix' that do it for me, cos of the beautiful edits, especially when they cut the shit out of the intro to 'Sledgehammer' by Peter Gabriel!

this version does not have the "New York House 1" or the "New York House 2" mixes which are the hottest versions of all and made this record what it is... At least in Chicago!

In 1989, Clivilles and Coles were big name producers who appeared behind many big tracks of the day, as well as fronting the likes of C&C Music Factory. "You're My One And Only True Love" was not really a big hit, but of course, tunes such as this are not destined for the charts, but destined for the dancefloor! Of course, C&C MF were well crafted in the art of filling dancefloors on both sides of the pond, and everyone wanted to work with them. Listening again to this tune (Club Mix) is always a pleasure, and for me, it is a extremely well-crafted piece of music, with Seduction's wailing vocals weaving majestically with the driving beats and bass. The synth too is awesome, echoing nicely most of the way through the tune, not at all in a cheesy way! Long may this remain on my MP3 player!

For me this is THE vocal house track of all times! ...try the "New York House Mix 2" and float away back to the early 90s, when Clivilles & Cole defined a whole new sound of house music. Extremely uplifting, not too much of the typical house-organ, and a catchy, striking synthie-hookline, that opens the track and comes up several times again. The other mixes aren't bad, though, but B2 seems the best one to me.

I do like New York House Mix 2, but for me, this song will always be a late 80's freestyle classic and the vocal club mix is the best version here.
