Absolutely superb album of dubbed out acidic magic!! Based around the sounds from retro analogue gear produced by Roland the 303,606,707 & 808 are worked and tweaked in ways I haven't heard before, to produce dubby spaced out grooves...I'm in heaven when I spin this CD. Brilliant album and worth tracking down the CD version for the two extra trax! =)

As 'thr33tim3' states (below) - the vinyl is a bit miserly / could easily have put the 2 bonus cuts on from the CD. Not only that but my vinyl copy isn't pressed very well - sounds distorted to my ears. Much better is the download which I got first (thought I'd treat myself to the vinyl when I realised how good this album is) .... but wish I'd stuck to the d/l which has a very nice clean sound. Despite all that one of the best albums of the year imho.

I'm listening to it right now, I think it sounds great? The original download was a bit distorted too, it's just how it was made to sound... even after upgrading my set up I haven't heard any distortion and the record sounds fantastic, frankly.

considering side B is 8 mins long and side C is 6:38, you'd think they could have fit the two "extra" tracks from the CD (202/303/303/303/808 and 303/303/303/303/808) on this 2LP...
