An excellent album from Adge and the 'real' Wurzels recorded in the Royal Oak, Nailsea, Somerset (or Zummerset as Adge would put it). Adge was a great talent, sadly lost in a car crash on 5th May 1974 returning from a string of gigs in Hereford, and this LP is a great tribute to him and his fellow Wurzels, Reg Quantrill (Banjo), Reg Chant (Accordion), John Macey (Bass) and Brian Walker (Tuba (or Wurzelphone)). Although only a mono recording you really get the atmosphere of the night oozing out (possibly stuck on your boots). The original classics are all here, Drink Up Thy Zider, When the Common Market comes to Stanton Drew, The Chew Magna Cha-Cha and my favourite, Twice Daily. If you were born in Somerset then you really should have a copy of this in your collection.
