Stuart Hawkes credited as 'Stuart' on sleeve, but as 'Stu.' in the runout etching.

'Dozer' is shown on the back cover with an incorrect duration of 1:40 whereas the correct length is actually 6:15. The prior track time likely refers to the length of 'Lithosphere' exclusive to the CD version of Wormhole (VRS 001 CD).

Printed inner sleeves.

Reviews:
  • GWEZJ
Doesn't get any better than this! Otherworldly, organic analog funk. 10/10.
  • Tansino
Yes, this coherent album sounds like a DnB/BB masterpiece (1998 year wise).
  • Usishele
Hardstep = gabba for you dnb hard style go hard you don't have to leave just go hard bra.
  • Virn
still sounds totally fresh
  • Saintrius
propably nearly as good as Panacea's twisted designz and dom & R. industry, which were released in the same year, but was a bit more mindblowing back than.
  • one life
definately industry, twisted designz and makai's millenium were my favorite albums back than. Chameleon and Travel the galaxy was not a bad work at all, but as the prev. Rel. since Creeps, much to overcoded with ultra high definition sounds. I prefer the actual works of Audio, BSE, Evol Intent, Current Value or Dom & Roland (or hymen and ad noiseam) releases which are closer to the minimal Industrial intention of dnb/idm music. you can say there are parallels in the evolution of Lars von Trier and ed rush & optical.Have you checked Limewax - always and never? DNB at it's best in my opinion!
  • Banal
Massive props for your recommendation, Dom & Roland's Industry is just so effing good, words cannot describe.
  • Dalarin
A fantastic Album , simple tracks with alot of attitude . Dark but quirky/funky tunes that mix so well together . in modern techstep there is so much in the music that all you need is to mix and fade out ... however with older techstep creating music with clever mixing of basic-ish tracks is where its at . Take me back to 1998 if you build a time machine !
  • Wooden Purple Romeo
There are 2 different covers to this amazing lp, which means that there are probaly 2 pressings...Food for thought.
  • Truthcliff
I think I have this "red" release. Does it say "Voted best album" in the corner?I can't find anything about it either :(
  • Inabel
i own both versions but can't find any info for the pressing with the red artwork on the net :( anyway, great release & covers some topnotch productionwork!! i'm glad to hear those warm, analog sounds comin' back in many new releases, seems like the old school sound is finding it's way back to the true d&b public after some years of weak releases & tons of clichés :)
  • Stick
point blank is the tune on this ep. got this signed.
  • Dawncrusher
Absolutely-bleepin'-essential drum & bass.
  • MrDog
A seminal work in Drum & Bass history - in my opinion Ed Rush & Optical's finest hour, and with a body of work such of their's that is saying something. The filthiest synth sounds a plenty, courtesy (i've been told) of a Nord Micro Modular among other things, made their sound unique and I would imagine the envy of many wannabe producers. An absolute classic, and for my money the finest D&B album of all time.
  • Funny duck
Sequential Circuits Pro-One? I had one for a while. It was great.
  • Ylal
The bass synth was not a Nord Micro, I'm not saying what it is cause I want to buy one or two...
  • Fordg
This an unbelievable, era-defining, technically stunning d&b album that spawned hundreds of poor imitations! Ed Rush & Optical were, at this point in time, at the top of their game as producers in the dnb scene.
  • DART-SKRIMER
stunning album, still sounds totally fresh 8 years on. techstep at its finest, wormhole defines itself by opposites i think, funky yet dark, an incredibly infectious sound (yes, virus recordings, i know). every single track on here is a killer. exceptional production. highly reccomended.
  • Captain America
On the cover of the LP, the track Dozer is labeled as being 1:40 minutes, but in actuality it's almost 6:12. Must be an error when they made the covers for the CD/LP versions, since the CD is mixed.
  • Muniath
Less is certainly more! Such simple drum beats and repetitive basslines get you humming for hours. Definitely for all the futuristic drum and bass fans only though - no cheesy vocals and melodies for all you Fabio fans. Check out key track "Glass Eye" and have nightmares for weeks after.
