Okay, I have to admit: this album has a sensational audiophile quality. It defenitely sounds spectacular. From an artistic point of view, it is nothing more that latin pop with a hip-hopish sauce on top. If you're into that it might be quite okay, but musically it's far from special.

Yep! You´re actually right, if we see it from far out, from the outside... BUT, seen from the other side (the chilean one), I would find this album a pretty good one, specially if I think, how much Chile was always lacking of this kind of music and artist, soul, funk, blues and in general, so called "black music". The country is an a bit isolated placed (culturally too), with almost no kind of african ancestry and influence. So, let´s say, "good effort" first, and that I´m happy enough at least, that this kind of music is reaching the chilean listeners and taking some place in the musical scene there. Its anyway about her first album, only, mate!. :-)
