Recorded in 1987 and an edition of 50 copies the tape was actually a demo to get a record deal. Due to the silver cover it was called The Silver Tape.

After signing to classX Records in 1990, only three tracks were used for the next album.

Not until 2003 the whole album was released as 1987 on Chrom Records
