The track to acquire from this release is 'My Soul'. Don't care for the rest of the album one bit.

Can you say P-Funk techno? Judging by the cover and the sound within George Clinton seems to be the main inspiration. Not a bad thing either because this album is a lot of fun to listen to, and it's distinctly different from much of the techno that has come out of Detroit. There's really no way of knowing how much input Eddie had over 3MB on this one. I'd be curious to know how the recording process went. Anyway, this represents a meshing of 80s electro, funk, and early 90s techno. The kicks and basslines hit harder than expected and there's some use of samples that conjures up classic hip hop in there too. The squealing synth melodies are great also. Overall, a very enjoyable album that's unfairly overlooked. Even though it's out of print, it's not difficult to find a copy in good condition for reasonable price if you're patient. I think I paid about $10 for a sealed CD copy.
