My copy of this pressing sounds fantastic as well. Not the quietest vinyl but a great sound.
  • Adrietius
I just picked up a copy at a local record shop and the sound quality on this is absolutely amazing. Bass is nice, guitars crisp, no semblance in the voice, overall, I'm super happy about this pressing. Not sure if she'll allow another repress, however, I highly recommend this one for any fan of hers.
  • Gunos
This is one of the great releases Universal had cut by Willem Makkee. Most of them sound spectacular and can be identified by the "320" (code for Germany) in the deadwax.

this version has same matrix numbers as this one https://www.discogs.com/PJ-Harvey-To-Bring-You-My-Love/release/2907351anyone knows how the quality is? is it better than cd? how does it compare to the vinyl first pressing of this album?
  • Flash_back
as much as I like the idea of first pressings, this one does sound much much better than the 1995 release.
  • Connorise
Can someone please write something about the quality of this record? Thanks.
  • Virn
I can't compare it to the first pressing, but anyways: this release sounds really really good, can't believe I found this today for such a bargain. Dynamic range is how I like it: no loudness-war, enough room here for both the thrilling & the soothing side of Polly Jean Harvey.
  • Gaxaisvem
Excellent pressing. Very quiet vinyl, no pops and crackles, which is a rare thing nowadays. But beware of bootlegs: This one has a printed inner sleeve but I have seen numerous bootlegs that just come in a plain white inner.
  • Vrion
I don't have another pressing to compare it to, nor do I know how the master was sourced, but the vinyl is quiet, and it sounds pretty good. Considering what the first pressing is selling for, I had no hesitation buying this one, mint, for twenty-five bucks.
  • Cordann
I'll also add that it's a fairly quiet pressing, as in no pops or clicks. Just the faintest surface noise in a few parts.
  • Phallozs Dwarfs
I concur with the others. This is a fantastic sounding pressing
  • Coirad
I also have a average/above average system and this is def one of the better sounding pressings I have heard.
  • Fordredor
Sounds great on my average system, no complaints from me.
