So smooth and so deep, this is a must-buy if you see it. I came across this cassette version at the sadly closed Logan Hardware in Chicago. RIP Logan Hardware - a very fun place to dig and then play classic arcade games in their back room. Cassette still sounds great - rich and vibrant. Michael Watford has some voice - very controlled here but you can hear the thunder rumbling. Kerri Chandler's Don't Play No Games has same restraint to vocals - they're present and you feel them, but they don't overpower, and they slink along with bass line and keys so smoothly. The Mission Control - whoa, those chords. They are lovely, and with the vocals - incredibly pleasing to listen to this beauty. So good, I now have to go back and listen to the A side again. This is one sure to appeal even to those that don't particularly care for soulful vocal house. It's irresistibly good. B-side is wonderful too, especially Rudolpho's Sunday Afternoon.

Killer compilation. Highlights are definitely the Mission Control and Rudolpho tracks. Both highly sought after 12s! The Watford track is pretty ignorant, too.
