Here is some info brought by Matt Reyes:Tuff-Enuff were rappers David (White D) Smith from Quincy MA, and Bobby (MC Beve) McQueen from Weymouth MA. I first became aware of them in 1987 when they called a radio station that played an instrumental I made with my friend and partner Charlie (DJ KooKoo) Murphy - also from Dedham - to ask if they could rap over it. I met them at the beginning of 1988 and began producing music for them and recording them in my home studio. We got a few songs played on Lecco's Lemma, Street Beat, and Rap Explosion, the rap radio shows in Boston at the time. Over the next seven years, members came and went, the band name changed to Popular Demand and then World Premiere, and then Dave went solo as D.Scribe. I still produced some music for him, but it's been awhile now.
