I've been a massive fan of Will Haven ever since El Diablo came out, i eagerly awaited this new album for ages and it didn't disappoint. On hearing it was to be issued on vinyl i felt it was a must have. The vinyl itself is beautiful, it's the first glitter vinyl i've ever seen and i'm glad to have it in my collection, but unfortunately the sound quality is not what i'd hoped for. I'm sure the problem isn't with the actual mastering, but the vinyl itself, it seems that the glitter must remain in the playing surface, causing quite a bit of noise and crackle when played (i'd be interested to know if this is a common occurance). I'm such a fan that even if i'd found this out before purchase, i would probably have still bought it, but i like to listen to all my vinyl if possible and i'll definitely be looking to buy one of the other coloured editions in the future.

My copy has surface noises, too. Looks nice, but sounds bad...

Glitter vinyls are usually not as good quality wise. transparent are the best.
