This record has it all. "The Middle Children" is the showcase on this vinyl, proving to be an effective and awesome classic hardcore tune, with a beautiful melody. It's also unusually long for a hardcore track, probably requiring a DJ to mix to another track, leaving out big parts of this tune, unfortunately. The rest is a mixed collection of IDM and hardcore that doesn't really impress me, except for "Mako". This often overlooked hard techno track is probably one of the best tunes Ophidian has put out in my opinion, with its hauntingly simple but effective melody. This record shouldn't be missed!
