This album is a real treat. Being on a gospel label, this LP was most likely sold in gospel stores. When you think of gospel, most likely you think vocals so I'm curious as to the initial reaction of the record. The music is great. All tracks are nice and melodic. I hear downtempo, soul, and even electro and it instantly reminds me of Larry Heard. This came out 5 years prior to Mr Heard's epic Sceneries not Songs album so it makes you wonder if Larry heard this album prior to working on his brand of downtempo house.This is highly recommended!
