absolutely brilliant monster release. incredibly powerful. spectacular in terms of bass-sound and drum programming. beautiful vocals. generally it has a highly "dramatic" mood, not as in drama but as in thrilling. the live guitar has an excellent character too, distorted, slightly feedback-ish but in no way misplaced. this is ultra dance-inducing. too sad betty cann research published only two releases [both by APHRIA] because both are top-notch quality productions. "magic maker" is not for the average house-dj but those who know what they do and who want to push the public to farther funk dreams will benefit from its greatness. thumbs and toes up!
