C'mon, this is desecration!

First and foremost, if you are any kind of Italo fan, this song will sound VERY familiar on first hearing. It's basically a cover of Pineapples - Come On Closer (I wonder if the writers were credited?) with a more contempary (read: riffing on Stock Aitken Waterman) arrangement, but to my ears it's actually BETTER than Pineapples. As someone who grew up with late 80s pop, I like the warmth this version has much better than Pineapples, and the arrangement and production is much more sympathetic to my ears than Pineapples, which feels very cold. It's been said that Come On Closer is a song that's big with electro fans and not so much with Italo fans, so maybe the Italoheads should check this version out :)
