Well after buying records for the last 8 years ive had enough of the jump up sound, The music is going down hill very fast, it all sounds the same to me now and is very boring. There is only one good tune on this ep and that is track d, which should have never been released on this label, and i don't feel that it's icicles best work either. All i can say is don't waste your money on this ep. Andy c needs a good kick up the rectum and needs to get in the real world. There is so much more better music out there and he's not putting it on ramm that's for sure.

Ram proves again why they are one of the best labels in drum & bass with this stellar EP. To start things off, Ram Trilogy (Andy C, Shimon and Ant Miles) rework their 2003 anthem "Screamer" into a VIP for 2008. Although I think it's a bit cheesy with it's large synth lines and high pitched vocals, it gets a great reaction whenever it's dropped. Definitely a peak time record for large crowds. Up next is Culture Shock teaming with the Brookes Brothers with "Smoothie". Both producers worked together to create "Rework" on Culture Shock's 2007 "Third Stage" EP with great results, and here neither disappoints. The track has a funky bassline and is the most unique track on this EP. On the C side is Chase & Status' latest stomper "Brazil". The tune starts out with a standard 2-step beat and Brazilian horn samples (hence the name) but once it breaks, the beat switches and it goes into a dirty little rhythm. Finally, rounding out "Dimensions 3" is Icicle & Nymfo's "Franky Mountain". The tune is a blatant nod to Digital & Spirit's classic "Phantom Force", but that's not to say it's a rip-off - "Franky Mountain" is just very inspired by Digital & Spirit's tech-step anthem. Overall, a great EP.
