Just one of the best folk-rock records in recent history. On this LP, SGLs come across gently, but with a certain assurance, lending them a strength that keeps the record successful. All of the songs are beautifully sung, with Donovan & Glenn harmonizing in that slightly-discordant-yet-beautiful fashion that they have become so good at. This is my favorite record for afternoon and evening driving on sweltering summer days through shady countrysides. This is my favorite record for any summer moment. It just reeks of the beauty of existence, something amplified when the temperature rises.
