The brightness of "My 4 Stars Theme" certainly gets you in the mood of some shiny tech-house, courtesy of Fabrice Lig. There's some light jazz in the groove of "In My Arms," with an unmistakable sample from "Video Killed the Radio Star," while the "Naive Jazz Mix" of that track goes into squat, jaunty downtempo. "Los Picaros" continues in that jazzy vein, but if you crave more traditional tech-house, "Golden Instants" is there to get you going. Some soul creeps into "Back to Tha D" as part of the joyous fun, but it's the title track that slides in with its smooth melody, quick beats, and diva vocals. The saxophone on "My Old Friend" lends a sultrier quality to its thump, and the final track, "Wait for March," brings in some tribal hints to its percussion, but is somewhat more circumspect, manage to do without a 4-on-the-floor. A buoyant, pleasing listen overall.
