They were all recent UK London licenced titles:- All four came with the London 'silver top' labels and Decca's legendary dinked triangle optional centres and blue striped die-cut company sleeves..Duane Eddy Peter Gunn (from Jamie)Pat Boone Wang Tang Toffee Apple (from Dot)Martin Denny Quiet Village (new Stereo re-recording) (from Liberty)The Fleetwooods Come Softly To Me (from Doulton)Amazingly after this Stereo Day push and launch with these 4 singles as a bonus and fun thing SL prefixs Stereo-London and 'Stereo' text in block capitals, that was the end, The big four Decca EMI Philps and Pye agreed as a marketing ploy and revenue catcher none of them would release Stereo 7" singles but would release EP's and LP's in Stereo mixes for a premium (ie a con and a rip off)UK stereo Singles quietly crept back in from 1969 + Big T and Pentangle (via CBS) said they were the first out the bag, Reprise (via Pye) with Fleetwood Mac's The Green Manalishi crept out and so on..........This UNI/MCA (folded USA Decca) licenced single is just a rather insulting joke to Mr White Mr Page and Mr Regan, no doubt Jonathan King had his hand in this, just needless and of no point.

A very historic and great record and the start of Barry White and Co hitting the big time WARNING! Avoid the UK Decca UNI 45 pressing as it is in pointless MONO (why ??) the original US 45 is in glorious STEREO the same goes for the follow up "Is It Really Me" If you do desire a UK pressing then the first EMI MCA pressings of the two singles are indeed correctly issued in STEREO. Why MONO God gave us two ears!!!!!!
