this album needs to be pressed on vinyl!!! 'red friends' is my favorite track.

Needs a vinyl reissue. Great albums. Must have. Get in on this!

'Sugar Crystals' off this is amazing and could have opened up a whole world of sounds for them if they'd persued the harmonic tangents within it. As it does, it pushes the notion and possibility of Shoegaze into fantastic strange new pastures far away on some distant planet. A frantic stuttering looped mantra with alien vocals, chopping and swirling overdriven guitars, piercing strings, celestial crystalline melodies and a beautiful otherworldly chord structure, it's not an overtly saccharine track though which is a bonus, retaining a nice sharp edge to it. A bit like being caught in a giant hairdryer on full blast, set to sub zero ice cold, stand still long enough and you'll be frozen solid where you stand.Ironic that it bears the involvement of one Ulrich Schnauss...The rest is passably entertaining Shoegaze. '..Crystals' is unlike anything else on the LP. It's original unique tracks like this that keep the flame and spirit of Shoegaze alive and burning...

Would be neat to see the Japanese version of this added here.

It'd be even neater if this was reissued on 180gram ;) 'you kids should know better' & a handful of others on this long player still sound great! Whatever became of them? Saw them at Norwich Arts Centre when they were touring this album, warmed up for Ilrich Schnauss... A rather splendid evening as I recall ;)
