Deathprod - Treetop Drive flac mp3 download

Great sounding pressing (although I've never owned another version of this album.The three parts of Treetop Drive are minimalist, dark, brooding and full of atmosphere. They have a decaying industrial quality to them which reminds me of David Lynch. The second part is the most harsh; the surrounding parts are a little more sedate by comparison and bring to mind a melding of Tony Conrad and electronic noise artists. The third part also reminds me of Odd Nosdam for some reason, must be the warbling faded loop that underpins the piece.Towboat probably changes the most over the course of it's track length but it still has a very slight feel to it. Treetop Drive 1-3 almost feel autonomous, like something that was stumbled upon or was allowed just to breath at its own pace, in comparison Towboat feels more like a performance by a performer.Great release.
