The title track was recorded on March 7, 1989

On that day, my grandfather Oskar Kaufmann tells us, how he used to travel 1962 with the "Michelangelo", that was an
Italian transatlantic passenger steamer, from California to New York and from there on his journey home across the Atlantic.

7 days after this admission, on march 13th 1989 my grandfather died.
When he told me this story, he was probably already on morphine.

7 Years later, march 13th 1996 my brother Flo made the laquer cut

The recordings are certainly not a qualitative hight flight ....... Cassette recordings just, with
multiple quality loss when dubbing !

The record is dedicated to the beginnings of Strato Zoo and especially the time in the "Allerheiligen 67" the first Strato Zoo
recording studio ....... a real magic place .....
Definitely a memory record and certainly not a hi-fi production !
Strat sounds in their purest form, no other instruments and no singing.
