A major management / marketing mistake by Scepter for not putting the full length LP version of Free Man on this 12". If they really felt that strongly about Train Called Freedom, they could have easily put Free Man on side B, or, pressed a separate Free Man test pressing just like this one with the full length LP version on side A and the Tom Moulton 5:35 disco mix they released on the 45 on side B. Even shortly thereafter the South Shore Commission LP was released, when it was very clear that Free Man was a major hit, they could have pressed a Free Man test pressing for disco use. Thus, another historical blunder of epic proportions. Same for Scepter's B.T. Express material. They could have easily pressed a test pressing 12" with the full length Tom Moulton versions with disco mastering of Express b/w Do It 'Til You're Satisfied. Now those would have been significantly more playable, collectible and valuable than just a test pressing of Train Called Freedom. What were they thinking?
