This disc was cut using a Meissner 9-1065 mono record lathe. This is an experimental lathe cut in mono and is meant to be noisy. The material this disc is cut on is part of the experimental aspect of the recordings and adds to the over all sound of the tracks. The recordings will degrade very quickly after only a few plays and are meant to be listened to a limited number of times. As Part of the listening experience each time the recordings are played they will sound slightly different.

This disc may not play on all record players. Turntables with automatic reproducer arms may not play the full length of the tracks, depending on their calibration. The hole in the middle of the disc may not fit perfectly on all record players. To secure the dis press down through the center hole breaking through the center label. The disc may need to be taped down on the sides to keep steady while playing. Different styluses will degrade the sound quality of the disc at different rates, making the disc life vary.

No artist, title, or tracklist information is printed on the release. The disc is packaged in a folded single-sided color print on white, medium weight paper.

Some copies have a piece of paper with writing, but not all do. For example, one copy has a University of North Carolina parking meter card with "my head sewn onto a camel," written on one side.
