After the successful MOOOSE Records launch with Brothers Incognito, another Act from the Vinylstars Tribe celebrates his debut on this label – Michael Tyralla. With his SOUND OF LIFE EP he describes in an impressive way the music he is dedicated to: Techno without compromises. The title track Midlife demonstrates this without doubt and shows that Michael is mature and his sound is mature, true and harmonious too. After a spectacular intro the track begins to gain speed by adding some shakers and percussions, pushing itself more and more to its peak time. All the sudden, the bass drum appears and gives Midlife its irresistible groove. A few vocals complement this massive arrangement. But all in all the actual peak is the break in the middle – a quirky Synthesizer melody out of which the track theme slowly evolves and is brought to life and in the same way disappears to free space for the original bass line. 5 stars Techno! The guys from Raumakustik interpreted the original in a more technoid, but nevertheless playful way. The bass is pumping, different Noises and Bleeps join the arrangement and give the track the typical techno dress! Impressive! Another track by Michael Tyralla is Sequence One, a techno track that due to a phat Synthesizer sound and a playful melody does not really seem to fit into the sometimes too monotone Techno dress. The last track on the SOL EP is called Too Late and is a relaxed, groovy piece of work that suits perfectly to the beach or a bar. Altogether, a manifold EP, advanced music for advanced listeners!
