" Iconoclast have a 7 track demo for sale of 'amazing quality' for only £1, all you have to do is post your £1 to their manager and close friend Havie Martinez.. and pretty soon the tape with box, cover, plus lyric sheet will hit your doormat.I can't encourage you enough to buy the demo, buy , buy ,buy, it's excellent, Iconoclast have that certain... , it's been a firm favourite of mine since I acquired it and its likely to stay that way, in no way are these a wimpy band judging by the 7 trax on offer here, the demo was probably recorded in some 8 or 16 track studio and the way they have captured the power and enthusiasm makes me anxious to see what they could do if and when they cut vinyl and I do hope its soon. They have the right speed, not so fast as it becomes indistinguishable and not too slow so that you zzzzz!. The drumming is the distinguishing factor to moi, not your usual snare and high-hat Nick stretches his kit to the utmost with rolls and loads of fiddly bits I don't know the name of. Hmmm the lyrics are a wee bit too Dischargey but wheres the harm in that? short and to the point. Have I kindered any interest? Yes?? well don't just sit there the postie shuts at 6.00pm.
