WARNING!This is not the July/August 1975 Grammy winning USA R&B #1 UK #3 classic orchestrated floor filler!This is the posthumous September 1979 UK originated remix by Ian Pickering aka The Mix Masters released as a 12" on UK H&L (via Phonogram) 9198 436.It absolutely sucks and is a vile insult with its crazy intro with its clicking casstonettes and drum programming (even makes Ben "I know it all" Liebrand's and his wife's pap listen able and that's saying something) This tampering is just insulting and I am amazed that Phonogram allowed this to slip-out. Avoid, melt/snap and bin. Stick to the original Van Mccoy recording,mix and master on the 1975 Avco album Disco Baby or the tie-in 7" Avco single.This is not a true or fair representation of that crafted work. Uni-Disc did not do their homework or research and gaffed here very bad that the label does not say Mix Masters 1979 remix! If it had I would not have wasted my money!Van died 6th July 1979 age just 39 other Van Mc. classics include Jackie Wilson "I Get The Sweetest Feeling" and David Ruffin "Walk Away From Love". They are BOTH what you call classy productions. Something that this not and will never be!
