These tracks are an essential idea of where New Beat took and led Techno into a new direction. Short, precise and right to the point with it's hard edged beat, each song is built around a solid core. These tracks don't play around with any cheese or gimmicks. Super strong, this group puts forth a style that could have been a long term movement. It's the earliest example with a mix of true Industrial and Techno all on one plate. Similar tracks to come out later were from the labels Tresor and the very early Mute releases with their long Techno times. Find this one!

This most very fine and very rare and unheard EP scores very high marks with me. I bought it mainly for the track "Phase-", but the others are just as strong. And part of what makes this one so very fine is the fact that the tracks don't drag on forever but are very concise. They're downright short. I could have went for a couple more minutes of "Phase-". Thankfully back then drugs weren't such an integral part of techno music production. That meant the tracks didn't wander aimlessly like they do now. This is an excellent EP. If ever you should see it, buy it, love it, PLAY IT! It's GR-R-R-REAT!
