This LP was recorded in Africa, mainly Abidjan (Ivory Coast), where Johnny came back after a tour 2 years before.

Tracks A4 & B1 are played by Djeli Moussa Diawara, Griot & Korafola (Kora player). Johnny and Djeli Moussa met in Abidjan. Johnny liked Djeli Moussa's playing techniques and instrument so much that he invited him on his record as "special guest".
