I got this UK & EU version from the RSD 2014 and I noticed that Side A contains the tracks supposed to be in side B and viceversa. Did anyone else notice this mistakes?Very poor packaging sleeve.Great records anyway.

A double album of alternate takes from Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris. Side 1 is from the GP sessions. Side 2 contains material from GP & Grievous Angel sessions. Side 3 is from Grievous Angel. Side 4 is 3 fantastic tracks from the Sleepless Nights collection. So how is it? Material: Top notch. The tracks are different enough from the album versions to make it a very different experience. Sound: Great. Nice vinyl pressing as far as I can tell.Packaging: Poor. There's a lack of design here and it's a damn shame (also a wasted opportunity). No gatefold??!!? Instead of looking like a proper release, it looks like a cheap bootleg, which it is not. What a shame. My only gripe (besides the terrible cover) is the two versions of the song Sleepless Nights (one on side 3 & 4). Give us a unique track. C'mon. Otherwise, this is some high grade, hard country Gram Parsons material.

omg i just opened my (supposedly new) copy that i got at record store day today, and it's all scratched up! playable, but still!!!

Me too. It looks like some vinyl chunks fell into the sleeve. I was pretty miffed about that.

My copy has "many" hairline scratches on the surface as well - on all 4 sides. Appears to be the inferior poly sleeves they put the vinyl in. I'd recommend replacing them with better inner sleeves asap. Placing the records in these sleeves will only scratch the discs more. The "rounded edges" also make for difficult removal of the records i.e. with your fingers to flip.Vinyl sounds good thankfully. Over priced at USD $35 IMO. No gatefold. Mediocre card stock outer sleeve. There is no Cat #: 8122796131 anywhere on my copy. Also, Rhino Cat#'s start with R1- so this entry appears wrongly input:Rhino Records (2) ‎– 8122796131, Reprise Records ‎– R1-541107

The back cover indicates 3000 copies (not 5000). Or are there 3000 US copies and 2000 International copies?
  • Tenius
There are 5000 copies released un Europe/UK etc. They are unnumbered. The Us release is 3000 numbered.
