Really great release for its time. Back when EBM/electro-industrial's heydays were on the wain. That's the correct genre here, by the way. This is not industrial (to the purists, anyways) although it certainly has some elements. Those are most apparent in 2 of this album's stunning instrumentals: "Phrophets of the Sun" and "13 Minutes of life" are epic endeavors into darker ambient terrority. Usually instrumentals on albums like this are little more than filler and self-indulgent exercises in effects and atmosphere. Here they are massive journeys that are done as good, if not better, than the vocal tracks. They are good enough that they could populate an entire album of this material (imho). The vocal tracks are also quite good. (most of them). Running a dynamic range of styles and intensity. From aggerssive EBM and electro-industrial to dark synth-pop.
