Notes

A collection of recitations and songs inspired by working in the North East Coalfield. Initially written by Johnny as poems, many of them were altered to songs when he became interested in the folk music of the region. Writen between 1952 to 2005.

The book contains words for 22 songs and recitations, and a free CD with renditions of each with accompaniments by Johnny.
