Release is the 1978 reissue of the 1966 version and part of Barclay's "Série 2 Disques"-reissue program, which sometimes repackaged original albums combined with a selection of Best Of tracks and vice versa.

In this case, the "Volume 1" is in fact Aufray's album "Horizon" from 1966; the "Volume 2" is a selection of cuts that featured on several of Aufray's early-sixties 7" EPs.

Made and printed in France; the BA-605 number only appears on the top right corner of the back cover.
