Review from Audion #46 (2002)...Amongst the most engaging of their releases, this is much more the patent Volcano The Bear, their unique style that we all Volcano fans have come to know and love. This is deeply layered stuff, involving much use of the studio as an instrument, and all pretty fresh too (very little had been heard before in live performances) and thus all the more rewarding.All the textural characteristics, fuzzed keyboards, echoey instruments, clarinet, and mangled rhythmic excursions, make a come-back here, taking us back to YAK FOLKS Y'ARE, whilst also stepping on, to a cosmic electronic music with weirdo Nurse With Wound type twisted edges.Yes, I love it, but don't think I should go any deeper, rubbing-it-in, as it's already out-of-print and deleted. Rather silly, if you ask me. Maybe they could put their heads together and come up with a solution, i.e. issue this and YAK FOLKS.. as a CD. How about it? - They never did!
