One of the greatest blues albums ever recorded. I bought this album in 1962 in the remainder bin at Colony Records corner of Broadway and 52nd Street in Manhattan in 1960 for 50 cents. I still play it regularly 50 years later (transferred first to tape, then to CD, and on my pc). Just A Dream, That's How I feel, Treated Wrong, Corn Bread Peas and Black Molasses, Sonny's Blues - and the rest...musical, accessible, fun, deep, and the piano (Is that Brownie? I don't know). I can't say enough about this one. I play a few of the songs in sets sometimes, but not often and when I do, I don't even try to interpret, I just sing them as best I can. more a tribute to Sonny and Brownie. Interesting, because I've got other albums by them, and I don't think they ever equaled this one. If you can find a copy, don't hesitate, grab it.
