Video about Passenger - Runaway

Passenger brings us another wonderful album of music, but when it comes to sonics this album simply doesn't deliver. In fact, something is so wrong with this album it's hard to listen to from end-to-end. Very disappointing sound quality. The actual 2-disk deluxe set is beautiful so what would have been a 4 or 5 star review is getting 2 stars because of a lack of attention to quality by the artist and producers. We know that Passenger can release records that sound as good as the music they contain -- just look to "Young as the Morning" for an example of this. That album has a clarity to it that makes you want to close your eyes, sit back and be washed over by one of the best sounding albums around. With Runaway I was forced to lift my needle by the end of track 3. I just couldn't take it anymore.

I reckon the last 2 albums before this have been shit pressings. I went thought three versions of "Young as the morning" and two copies of "the boy who cried wolf" and all were equally awful.
