An amazing EP that deserves a review - B side 'Moonrise' is just a nice & cruisy light morning tune...simple sweet piano tinkles & strings with an almost House-like beat, but slightly beefed up with the odd Rave-style stabs.Flip it over to A1 'Take Me Higher (Higher Mix)' & it's the track as made very famous in the classic Top Buzz 91/92 NYE sets @ Big Bad Head / Fantazia. This EP just snuck in before the end of the year & oh boy does this particular tune just go OFF - huge epic synth intro (that begs for it to be dropped from the top) that kicks bigtime into wicked choir stabs, nice FX cuts etc before breaking down into beautiful vocals & hands in the air piano rave. Just sums up proper 91/92 whistle posse vix madness raving!
