I believe the order is simply the order in which they were originally released. Regarding voyage 34, it was originally released as two separate singles (and briefly held the world record for longest single ever released); both singles were later complied together as voyage 34-the complete trip, which was subsequently shortened to simply 'voyage 34'.d Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape, despite containing music from the same sessions as those released on 'On the Sunday if life', was released later as an extremely limited (2500 copies I believe) CD and was not really aimed at the mass market (SW himself deemed the songs to be sub-standard, alikening the music to an artist's childhood sketches).

Very confusing way of ordering the albums, with the 2 compilation albums (On The Sunday Of Life and Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape) as albums 1 and 5 despite both reprinting the earliest tracks (the three 1989-1990 cassettes). Also is Voyage 34 really supposed to be BEFORE Up The Downstair despite being a leftovers album from it?

A very disappointing box set. The box is very slim, it's more of a slipcase really and there is no way that the records inside have full album covers. They must be just in slim 12" style sleeves. I expected more from Steve 'Collectable' Wilson.

Looking at how the price has risen since it's release it may not seem like it, but this release was always intended as a 'budget' release aimed at fans who never owned these records on vinyl. The initial price of this release was actually pretty fair considering it contains five albums; at least two of these are extremely uncommon on vinyl. In a way, I'm actually glad that the album covers are plain as it gives people an incentive to buy the individual albums (without it being forced upon them). I'd certainly love to see reissues of Staircase Infinities and Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape on vinyl.

Does anyone else's disc 5 have J repeated on the label? I have no I side. This arrived with a few minor scratches on it (presumably from bouncing around in the box) but it sounds great!

Far better sound due to new mastering done in 2015 and 2016 for OTSOL, UTD and V34
