Definitely agree with the below comments. This stunning double CD would be a classic album to have on vinyl.Regarding reticence to produce it on vinyl, there are three reasons to consider:1.) The CD was released during the dark ages of vinyl. There are many CDs during those years having no vinyl edition.2.) Counting the minutes (about 130?), it would have to be a triple album - so produced like the Neil Young Decade album.3.) It's by a truly revolutionary woman - kind of niche. Surely Patti Smith is iconic enough, and this album important enough . . . and the time is now ripe for the vinyl release?For those who love the Land CD. There was a promo CD of Higher Learning released at the time of Land (Higher Learning - CD, promo single, Card sleeve, Arista, ARPCD-5088). Track one, "version", 11:04 / Track two, "Live - Switzerland, 2001", 8:25. It's a great CD to have and currently easily available on Discogs, mint for £5. It could be a freebie 12" with the triple gatefold vinyl edition . . . what a superb package.

I totally agree - why no vinyl release? The originals were all remastered and the new material (both vintage and current) sounds excellent. It would make such a stunning package for release as a double LP.
