This is an interesting release as the two songs present on this release are based on the same recording and therefore share the same base melody. They are still somewhat different, as they are sung in different languages, play at different speeds and are done in different styles (the A side being more Euro House/Eurodance style while the B side has more of a Pop/Reggae sound). This was surely a good record to own in 1994 as the two songs were popular at the same time (you could almost say it was a "Double A" release). The whole record is based on the original 1986 "Les Divas du Dancing" from Phillipe Cataldo, a song that's pretty much laughingstock nowadays but which still managed to gain somewhat of a revival back in 1993 with this release. The remix doesn't make the song any less cheesy, and it's no wonder it's completely forgotten nowadays. I should probably point out that I personally like this song/remix, but unless I'm DJing for a 50-60 year old crowd, I'd never ever think about playing this anywhere today (as with a lot of stuff from the 90's).Still regarding the 1993 version of "Les Divas Du Dancing", I'd recommend against getting this DJ copy version of the release since the remix present on this record is altered: the beginning had some words chopped and replaced for no apparent reason and the ending finishes on a boring fade out, whereas the unedited version has the a cappella introduction words coming back "a cappella" at the end. This is how I remember the song ending on the radio, the reason why the guys at Numuzik changed it is beyond my understanding. The B2 track is another version of the song done in a style reminiscent of Ace Of Base's "The Sign". Not very memorable in my opinion. So in retrospective, I'd recommend collectors getting this release if having the two songs together is really a must, or if one wants to complete their Numuzik record collection. But otherwise, you'd be better off buying the separate singles on CD for optimal quality (the Numuzik records have never had the best sound anyways).
