Back in the day, 1981, this release was listed on the local charts in my city, London, Ontario, Canada. I was employed with a retail music chain called, "Records Unlimited" in Oxbury Mall, at the corner of Oxford Street and Highbury Avenue. I recall seeing Mr. Hughes' LP on display because we displayed the local "Top 40" LPs along one wall in the store. I was also employed with Smitty's Pancake House during this period. One late evening I remember a small group of people entered the restaurant. They caught my eye because of the fashion of their clothing and they were talking loudly and seemed to be very happy. I was working the graveyard shift as a dishwasher. I was taking a "smoke" break at the staff table and when I looked at one of the members of this group, I thought the one gentleman looked very familiar. I could not put a name to the face. I also recall he wore red high top sneakers. During the time they were visiting, I noticed Geoff look over at me, partly, because I appeared to be "staring" at him, which was not my intention at all. I quickly and shyly glanced in another direction. They ordered their meal, ate, and I recall watching them pay the check at the front counter of the restaurant and they left. The next day when I visited Records Unlimited, again I looked at Geoff's LP cover and announced to anyone within earshot and who cared to listen, "Hey, Geoff Hughes visited my restaurant last night!!!" My friends reply, "Oh yeah, sure, Rob. Give it a break will you..." Nobody would believe me. And reflecting back, I was too shy to ask for an autograph! I wonder what ever became of Geoff Hughes? Thanks for the privilege of posting my anecdote.

Thank you for your good reply. I hope he still picks up his guitar when he needs a break from his hockey stick; my educated guess both items are important hardware in Montreal! I wish him and his family health, happiness, and success. I wish the same for you and yours.

He lives in a small town called Rosemere on the northshore of Montreal! I played hockey with his son, I still say hi to Geoff when I see him around town!
